One of the first "pinball" machines ever produced, this "Official Pin Table" game was manufactured by the Mills Novelty Company in 1932. Known as "pre-flipper" games, they used actual pins on the playing board to guide the balls, thus the name "pinball." This particular model was the first pinball game made by Mills, as they were specialists in slot machines. Further, this game is called a pin "table" due to the legs, differentiating it from the countertop version. The machine measures approximately 37" high x 16" wide x 36" long. On the rear top is a plaque which reads "Official Pin Table, Mfg. By Mills Novelty Co. Chicago." Inside the front access panel is a sticker with operating instructions and the date "12-27-32." On the front top there is a sticker which reads "10 Balls For 5 Cents" with playing instructions, including "add score, red ball counts double." All original, includes lock and key, appears to have been serviced and oiled, works perfectly. Appears to have been repainted in its original black. This item will be expensive to ship.
