This Mills Novelty Company manufactured "Extraordinary Bell" slot machine is nicknamed "Word's Fair" and was introduced to the public starting in 1933. Including the beautiful wooden enclosure, this 25 cent slot mechanical machine measures 60" high x 19-½" wide x 14" deep. The machine maintains its original metal eagle plate and payout chart plate attached to the front. This model accepts quarters, which is the more desirable and rarer configuration, as the older "copper clad" lower-denomination coins had rougher edges and were prone to scratch the internal mechanisms or jam the machine. The interior is all-original and the slot machine works perfectly. The original paint is in excellent condition with some wear around the coin slot area. The wood cabinet has a few minor scratches but is in overall EX-EXMT condition. In perfect working order. Also comes with a vintage Mills Novelty Company advertising poster featuring models (including this one) from the "Mills superb Silent line...If it isn't a Silent, it's out-of-date!" The poster has been matted and framed to 30" x 42" and is in EXMT-NRMT condition with very light wear. Shipping will be expensive for these items.
