Vintage early pinball game made by "The Scientific Machine Corp., Brooklyn. N.Y." and entitled "Tie-Score, Dodgers/Giants." Five balls for a nickel, there are several pins and springs on the "playing field." The instructions at front read "The object of the game is to keep the score tied. The white numbers indicate the points to which the player is entitled when the score is tied. The player is entitled to points equal to the total of all white numbers lighted up." The coin lever on the front is stamped with "U.S. Pat. No. 1908380 May 9, 1933" and "1968752 May 16, 1933." Above the right ball return is stamped "A Scientific Product" with manufacturer's emblem. There is a mirrored lit backglass which shows the score and/or tilt. The machine measures 21 1/2" wide x 40 1/2" long x 50 1/2" tall including the backglass. All original, wood frame and legs with baseballs painted on both sides, there is some paint chipping. The front access panel appears to be either a replacement or sanded down, as it is not painted. The lock mechanism is not attached but is included and can be found inside the coin box. In perfect working condition. This item will be expensive to ship.
