This colorful "Fast Ball" baseball arcade game of the "pitch and bat" variety was manufactured by the Williams Company (model #370) in 1969. This type of game was a variation of the regular pinball formula, where a ball would be shot out at the player from the middle of the field, rather than the side, then the player would bat the ball into a series of targets. Measuring 70" tall X 34" wide X 50" long, the game features an animated backglass with men running the bases and targets on an extra-wide playing field. The "American League" can play against the "National League" in this two person contest. There are three pitch buttons (fast, curve and knuckler), two target catch buttons (infielder and outfielder) for fielding the ball and a batting button. There is a coin slot panel mounted on the front face, with lock and key. The all wood frame is painted with "pointy" artwork depicting various baseball scenes. All original, there is some paint chipping on the body and wear on the painted backglass. In perfect working condition. Shipping will be expensive for this item.
