During the 1922 to 1924 period the bat was used, Ruth averaged .362 at the plate and blasted 122 home runs. In 1923 he won his first of four World Series titles with the New York Yankees. The 1923 series was played at "the New" Yankee Stadium. Fittingly, it became dubbed "The House That Ruth Built," as the Babe blasted the first homer in the new stadium that season. This is an outstanding representation of a Babe Ruth game-used bat. The name "George "Babe" Ruth" is stamped into the front of the barrel in script-style lettering. There is a small crack 8" from the knob end. Ball and hit marks are visible along the right and left barrel, with white ball transfer marks on the left and right barrel. There is some chipping on the top of the right barrel. The knob end has two pieces missing adjacent to the front and back sides of the bat. Two tiny illegible codes are stamped into the knob end. The "125" on the center brand has been worn away and only a slight "5" is still visible. There is checking on the back barrel. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA.
