Sweet graphics on this wooden creation by Bally Manufacturing resembles the perfect follow through of the one and only, Babe Ruth. Painted on the actual "playing field" of the pinball machine is a large image of a hitter who could only be the great Bambino (paint is Excellent). Reverse painted display glass at top is 90% intact, the baseball diamond scene in bold, vivid green and yellow and "Bambino" large in lower right corner. Machine measures 31" tall (without legs) & 51" in length. Serial #842.The finest and most blatant piece that they never paid Babe Ruth licensing fees for. Full sized pinball machine is entitled Bambino. Gorgeous backglass is reverse painting on glass with green baseball field and the immortal trademark on bottom: "Bambino." The field of the game itself is the winner here. Luxurious handpainted image of an unmistakable Babe Ruth peers out from the entire field of play. It is a classic batting pose that bespeaks the word "Ruthian." It is framed by a wood case that is pure art deco, with harlequin type stylings that are all hand-painted and a marvel to behold. Metal legs areplaced but they look up to the task. Missing label at the top plus a small piece of front wood and the slab of wood hidden in the back. Otherwise it is in Excellent condition with nickel workings ready to make you go tilt. Our favorite baseball pinball machine of all and it should be yours too. Less than a handful are known to exist and that is some big hand. Working.
