Yankees infielder Lyn Lary was a teammate of the great Babe Ruth from 1929-1934, Lary's early career coincided with Ruth's late career. Together, they helped bring the World Series Trophy back to the Bronx in 1932. This approximately 7" x 8" black and white vintage photo pictures the two ballplayers with their wives, dressed to the "nines." From left to right are Babe Ruth, his wife Claire, Lyn Lary and his wife Mary. The professional, heavy stock photo has been cropped from its original size and shows remnants on the back from having been pasted into an album. The front of the photo is practically perfect and looks as clean as the day it was developed. The photo is signed in black fountain by Babe Ruth, Lyn Lary and Mary Lawlor Lary. The Ruth signature, which is the strongest of the three, is stunningly bold and grades a 9-10. The Lary signatures are slightly lighter but still grade a solid 8-9.
