Very rare 1947 vintage 24" X 36" patriotic poster featuring Babe Ruth, a year before his death. Poster features a large smiling portrait of Ruth with three bats over his shoulder and reads, "What is behind a high batting average? Effort plus "Know-How." What is behind workmanship? Effort plus "Know-How." The more you know about your job, the more valuable you are to your team. It's Up To All Of Us!" Poster is unusual in that Ruth is shown with a light beard. On the lower left corner is printed in part "Copyright 1947 - The Sheldon Claire Co...." Poster is in EX-MT condition with some minor spots and a tiny tear at the upper right.
