Black canvas equipment bag used by Yankees legends Mickey Mantle and Billy Martin during the 1950s. The bag measures approximately 26"L x 14"W x 13"H. A 13" x 13" piece of 1/4" plywood is inserted at both ends of the bag for strength and stability. All four corners on the bottom of the bag had a metal foot attached to it. Screened on both ends is the official "Yankees" team logo. Above the logo is Mantle's number "7" and Martin's number "1" in white. It appears that Martin's number was put on the bag first with Mantle's being added on later. The bag shows excellent use with a few small tears giving it an overall condition of VG.
