This Mitchell & Ness jersey is number 3 of 40 of a limited edition series from the Greer Johnson Collection. It is an exact pinstripe flannel replica of Mickey Mantle's 1956 Triple Crown jersey from the Major League Baseball Cooperstown Collection. On the inside back collar is the "Mitchell & Ness" manufacturer's tag. Attached is a white flag tag which reads "Made in U.S.A." On the front left tail is an additional "Cooperstown Collection" manufacturer's tag. On the right front tail, embroidered in navy blue is "1956, Greer Johnson Collection, 3 of 40." On the front left breast is the "NY" interlocking logo done in blue felt. On the back is the player number "7" done in blue felt. On the left front breast below the "NY" Mantle has signed in blue marker "Mickey Mantle, NO. 7, 1956." Signature and inscription grade a strong 9. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication. Also comes with a COA from Greer Johnson, which states in part, "I was Mickey Mantle's close friend, agent and manager...Mickey signed this jersey in my presence and it has remained in my possession from the time Mickey Mantle signed this item until the time it was acquired by Triple Crown Partners L.L.C."
