Whitey Ford enjoyed the finest won-lost percentage of the 20th Century, winning 236 games against only 106 losses, for a .690 career percentage. His 32 consecutive scoreless innings in Fall Classic play broke Babe Ruth’s mark of 29 2/3 innings. Ford was the Yankees’ pitching coach from 1973 to 1975. On the right front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "44" and wash instructions on it. Attached to that is a flag tag with "SET 1 #8P 1975" on it. Inside the back collar is an additional tag with "FORD" embroidered on it. Across the from the jersey is "NEW YORK." On the back is the coach's number "16." All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. There is an autograph in blue marker rating a 6 on the left front tail of the jersey. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
