The 1976 Yankees won their first pennant in 12 years under Billy Martin, and they would go on to win the World Series in 1977 and 1978. This 1976 NY Yankees American League Champions commemorative black bat measures approximately 35" in length. The barrel has been engraved with 12 Yankee names in gold lettering, as well as 24 Yankee signatures engraved in gold lettering. The middle of the bat has the "Louisville Slugger" trademark and a 1776 1976 bicentennial celebration "National Pastime" engraved in gold lettering. The barrel has "New York Yankees American League Champions 1976," "Gabe Paul" and a script "Billy Martin," all engraved in green lettering. The bat is in overall NRMT-MINT condition with a few very minor scuffs.
