This 16" (including base) bronze bust of Yankees HOFer Lou Gehrig was sculpted in 1990 by Rudolf Rubino Creations and is a limited edition 201 of 5000. This handsome bust features a striking likeness of "The Iron Horse" Lou Gehrig with Yankees cap, with the top of his torso in the form of a baseball with prominent stitching. In NRMT-MINT condition, the sculptor's name, Curtis Management, copyright date (1990) and "201/5000" are carved into the back of the torso.
