Yankee team Captain Derek Jeter earned his 1996 AL Rookie of the Year award hitting .314 with 10 home runs and 78 RBIs, helping New York to victory in the 1996 World Series. The 2000 World Series MVP has played in six All-Star Games, and in 2004 won a Gold Glove at shortstop. The blue wool New Era "59 50 Pro Model" cap has grey underside of the bill and a white canvas headband. On the inside back of the headband is the "New Era" manufacturers tag. To the left of that is the MLB licensing tag. To the right of the "New Era" tag is an additional manufacturers tag with the hat size "7 ¼" on it. On the front of the cap is the official Yankees "NY" logo embroidered in white. On the back outside of the headband is the embroidered official MLB logo. There is a "2" in blue marker on the underside of the bill. There is an autograph and "ROY 96" in silver marker rating an 8 on the top side of the bill. The cap shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication and a Steiner Collectibles COA.
