The leader of the Yankees on and off the field, DEREK JETER has a career batting average over .300. These pants were worn by Jeter during his rookie full season in 1996. On the inside back waistband of the home white pinstripe pants is the "Russell" manufacturers tag with the pants size "35" and wash instructions on it. Attached to that is a flag tag with "100% POLYESTER" on it. Adjacent to that is a strip tag with "JETER 35-33-96" on it. The pants show game use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
