Playing third base from 1998 to 2001, the popular SCOTT BROSIUS is well known to Yankees fans. Awarded the 1998 World Series MVP after hitting .471 with six RBIs and two home runs in the Yankees four game sweep of the Padres, he fielded the Series' final out. This is Brosius' 1999 Yankees game-used World Series home knit pinstripe jersey. On the left front tail is the "Russell" manufacturers tag with size "48" on it. Attached to that is a flag tag with "100% Polyester" on it. Adjacent to that is an additional manufacturers tag with "Brosius 99" on it. On the left breast is the official "NY" logo in blue tackle twill. On the back is the player number "18" in blue tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the embroidered official "1999 World Series" logo patch. On the left sleeve is a black armband and a number "5" in black tackle twill worn in memory of Yankee greats Catfish Hunter and Joe DiMaggio.
