The same year that he threw a perfect game, DAVID CONE recorded two postseason victories for the 1999 Yankees in their successful quest for another World Championship. This is David Cone's 1999 NY Yankees game-used World Series road knit jersey. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic Diamond Collection" manufacturer's label with size "46." Attached is a white flag tag with material "100% Polyester." Adjacent is a white patch with "Cone 99." Across the front of the jersey is "New York" done in blue on white tackle twill. On the back is the player's number "36" done in blue on white tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the official "1999 World Series" patch. On the left sleeve is a black armband done is elastic felt and a number "5" done in black tackle twill, in memory of Yankees greats Catfish Hunter and Joe DiMaggio, who both died in 1999. The jersey shows some use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a letter from Yankees-Steiner Collectibles.
