TINO MARTINEZ collected four hits, including a home run, in the four-game sweep of the Atlanta Braves in the 1999 World Series. Tino played with the Yankees from 1996 to 2001, participating in five World Series and bringing four championships to New York. On the left front tail is the "Russell" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "46" on it. Attached to that are flag tags with "100% POLYESTER" and "2" EXTRA LENGTH" on them. Adjacent to that is an additional manufacturers tag with "MARTINEZ 99" on it. Across the front of the jersey is "NEW YORK." On the back is the player number "24." All lettering and numbering is done in blue on white tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the embroidered official "1999 World Series" logo patch. On the left sleeve is a black armband and a number "5" in black tackle twill worn in memory of Yankee greats Catfish Hunter and Joe DiMaggio. The "5" has been moved higher when the other armband was added later in the season. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner Collectibles COA.
