BERNIE WILLIAMS is a clutch performer, and currently holds the record for most postseason home runs as a NY Yankee. The 2001 World Series was a dramatic battle against the Arizona Diamondbacks, going a full seven games. This Rawlings game-used bat from the series is pounded with blue and white ball marks on the right and front barrel. The player name "Bernie Williams" and "Yankees" is stamped into the front barrel in block lettering. Remnants of tape remain on the barrel suggesting this was used during BP and then removed for game-use. Checking and some finish removal is evidenced on the back barrel. A light amount of pine tar is on the upper handle. The bat model number "DW20" and year code "WS2001" are stamped into the knob end. Man: Adirondack, Model: DW20, Order Period: 2001 WS, L: 34.5 in, W: 33 oz, Wood: Ash, Finish: Black. Accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner Collectables COA.
