BERNIE WILLIAMS has played his entire professional baseball career with the New York Yankees; 15 seasons in pinstripes. He has played in six World Series, winning it all in 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2000. This road jersey was worn in the historic seven-game World Series battle vs. the Diamondbacks in 2001. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Russell" manufacturers tag. Attached to that is a series of flag tags with the jersey size "48," "100% POLYESTER," "2" EXTRA LENGTH" and "+2" SLEEVE LENGTH" on them. Across the front of the jersey is "NEW YORK." On the back is the player number "51." All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the embroidered official "2001 World Series" logo patch and below this is a black armband honoring the 9/11 victims. On the right sleeve is the embroidered official "American League 100th Anniversary" logo patch. On the outside back collar is the post-9/11 embroidered United States flag patch sewn directly over the embroidered "MLB" logo. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner Collectibles COA.
