Eight-time All-Star GARY SHEFFIELD brought his powerful bat to New York in 2004. With 166 hits and a .534 slugging percentage, he immediately became one of the best and most reliable hitters on a team of stars. This is Gary Sheffield's 2004 NY Yankees game-used road knit jersey. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" manufacturer's label with wash instructions. Attached is a white flag tag with size "50" and material "100% Polyester," beneath which is a white flag tag with "+2" extra length." Adjacent is a white tag with "2004." Across the front of the jersey is "New York" done in blue on white tackle twill. On the back is the player's number "11" done in blue on white tackle twill. On the back neck is the official MLB logo patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a letter from Yankees-Steiner Collectibles.
