Dispatching the Minnesota Twins in a four game ALDS in 2004, the Yankees were pitted against long time rival Boston in the ALCS. With the Yankees ahead three games to none and close to victory in the ninth inning of Game 4, the Red Sox mounted the greatest comeback in history to win the next four games and take the pennant. This red, white and blue cloth bunting with white stars hung in Yankee Stadium for the 2004 playoffs. There is a canvas reinforcement strip stitched to the top. There are three brass grommets on this canvas strip, and three more attached to the blue stripe portion of the bunting. The bunting shows nice wear, with the canvas strip torn at the left end. There are several holes in the blue portion of the bunting, and the brass grommet on the left end of the canvas strip and in the middle of the blue stripe are missing. Accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner Collectibles COA.
