Worn opening night, April 3, 2005 vs. the Boston Red Sox, "Godzilla" had three hits, three runs, three RBIs and pounded his first home run of the season in this jersey. On the front left tail of this jersey is the "Majestic" manufacturers tag with a series of flag tags attached reading size "52" and another tag that reads "2005". Inside the left seam of the jersey is a wash tag with code "0062" on it. On the left breast of the jersey is the "NY" logo in navy blue tackle twill. On the back is the player number "55" in navy blue tackle twill. On the back outside collar is the embroidered official "MLB" logo.
