Known as a stabilizing influence on a tumultuous team, Randolph's consistency on offense earned the respect of teammates and opponents. Randolph stayed in that role through 13 seasons and 32 shortstops. During Randolph's first six seasons with the Yankees, they won five division championships, four AL pennants, and World Series titles in 1977 and 1978. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's size "40" tag. Below that is an embroidered strip tag with "78 1" on it. Inside the back collar is an embroidered strip tag with "RANDOLPH" on it. On the front left breast is the "NY" logo in navy blue tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is the player number "30." All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue tackle twill. There is a black armband on the left sleeve for the death of Thurman Munson during the 1979 season. This jersey was worn in both the 1978 World Series championship season and the following season, when Thurman Munson died. The jersey shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. An additional LOA will be provided.
