Randy Johnson wore this on opening day, April 3, 2005 vs. the Boston Red Sox. The Yankees would cruise to a 9-2 victory over the defending champs, with the Big Unit allowing just one run over six innings of work, striking out six and picking up his first victory of the season. On the front left tail of this jersey is the "Majestic" manufacturer's tag with a series of flag tags attached reading size "52," "2005" year tag, and another "+4" body." Inside the left seam of the jersey is a wash tag with code "0062" on it. Across the front of the jersey is "NEW YORK." On the back of the jersey is the player number "41." All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the back outside collar is the embroidered official "MLB" logo.
