Before moving to third base, AROD was a gold glove caliber shortstop. In fact, he won the award in 2002 and 2003. A Rawlings PRO6HFK MODEL with "Alex Rodriguez" stitched in black script across the outside of the thumb. It shows excellent game-use and has a large pine tar stain in the inner pocket where the words "Heart of the Hide" are stamped along with "GOLD GLOVE.". It is tan cowhide with brown cowhide stitching with the inner hand slot labeled with " DEER TANNED COWHIDE." Also has adjustable hand slot strap with index finger hole.
