Typed letter of encouragement on Yankees letterhead dated August 30, 1964 to a boy in a wheelchair. Letter reads in part "I was sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well...we on the Yankees, are great admirers of those who put up a game fight." The Mantle signature is a stamp. Also included are three small snapshots of the boy sitting in the wheelchair and the original envelope.
