One of baseball's premier catchers, Jason Varitek guided the Red Sox pitching staff into the playoffs in 2003 and 2004, and was an instrumental part in the Red Sox' curse-breaking 2004 World Series run. Offered here is a white jersey with red stripe trim at the cuffs. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Majestic" manufacturer's tag. Below that is an additional manufacturers tag with "33 48 05" on it embroidered in black. Inside the left hip is a wash tag with code "0062" on it. Across the front of the jersey is "RED SOX." On the back is the player number "33." On the upper left front is the team captain's "C." All lettering and numbering is done in red on black tackle twill. On the back outside collar is the embroidered official "MLB" logo. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
