One of the best control pitchers in history, Greg Maddux won the Cy Young Award in four consecutive seasons (1992-1995). In the field, he won a Gold Glove award in eleven straight years. Maddux's career highlight was winning the 1995 World Series with the Atlanta Braves. With over 300 career wins and 3,000 career strikeouts, Greg is a definite first ballot Hall-of-Famer. On the front left tail of this jersey is the "RUSSELL ATHLETIC" manufacturer's size tag "44" with wash instructions. Two flag tags are attached, one reading "100% POLYESTER," the other reading "+2" EXTRA LENGTH." Across the front of the jersey is "ATLANTA" done in red on navy tackle twill with the Braves tomahawk below it. Across the back of the jersey is the player name "MADDUX" done in navy tackle twill on a grey nameplate. Below that is the player number "31" done in red on navy tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the Jackie Robinson 50th anniversary patch and below that is the "R" Russell embroidered logo. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
