In 1999 and 2000, Mike Piazza helped the Mets to two consecutive playoff appearances, the second resulting in a five-game World Series loss to the crosstown New York Yankees. On the front tail of this jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag. In the collar are two additional tags, one is the size "50" tag and the other is a washing instructions tag. Across the front of the jersey is "METS" in blue and orange tackle twill. Below that on the left and on the back is the player number "31" in blue on orange tackle twill. Across the back of the jersey is
"PIAZZA" in blue on orange tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "R" Rawlings embroidered logo. This jersey is a Turn-Back-The-Clock to 1986 home jersey. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
