Few players in pro-football history instilled more fear in wide receivers or running backs than HOFer Dick "Night Train" Lane, whose style of play was one of ferocity, intimidation, and raw power. Known around the league for his open-field tackling and cat-like reflexes, Lane was single-handedly responsible for the banishment of the clothesline tackle and still holds the modern-day NFL record for interceptions by a rookie cornerback with 14. On the in the crotch piece is the "King O'Shea" manufacturer's tag and the jersey size "46" on a tag next to it. Besides these two tags is another tag from "GRISWOLD SPORTING GOODS." On the front, back, and on each sleeve is the player number "81" in white tackle twill. There is a crotch piece attached to the bottom of the jersey with six buttons. There is a team repair on the front of the jersey. This jersey shows game-use and, with exception to the team repair, appears to have no alterations of any kind. An additional LOA will be provided.
