Along with the incomparable Bobby Jones, Tiger Woods is the only other golfer in history to win the Grand Slam of Golf. Succeeding Jones by over 70 years, Tiger became only the second golfer ever to capture the "Impregnable Quadrilateral," to hold all four major titles at the same time. For Jones, it was The British Amateur, The British Open, The U.S. Amateur and the U.S. Open. The modern definition could not be applied until at least 1934, when The Masters was founded; Tiger has come closest to meeting the modern definition of golf's Grand Slam by holding all four modern major championships simultaneously, the 2000 U.S. and British Opens, the 2000 PGA Championship and the 2001 Masters, although not in the same calendar year. This has been referred to as a Consecutive Grand Slam or, after the only player to achieve it, a "Tiger Slam." This "Masters Yardage" Guide measures 3-3/4" x 7" and was only provided to players and caddies. Green cover with 18 numbered pages plus note pages, revision date of "02/01" on flyleaf. This guide was carried by Tiger during the 2001 Masters, the final leg of his four consecutive Majors streak. Tiger's caddie Steve Williams took it home to his native New Zealand to be auctioned off for charity. The cover is signed in black ink on the cover by Tiger Woods and his caddie Steve Williams, who added "2001." Book shows light use and is in NRMT condition, signatures grade a strong 8. Authentic Tiger Woods tour-used items are rare, with "Tiger Slam" items being practically nonexistent; this is a great opportunity to own a real piece of Tiger history! Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication and another from the North Harbour Golf Association in New Zealand describing the provenance, which is also signed by Williams.
