After the 1995-1996 season, Shaquille O'Neal left Orlando to join the Los Angeles Lakers for an unprecedented seven year $120 million contract. There, he and teammate Kobe Bryant created one of the most effective guard-center combinations in NBA history. On the front tail of the jersey is the "NIKE" manufacturer's size "56" tag. Attached to that is an additional manufacturer's tag reading "LENGTH +6 Made In USA." The inside inseam has two tags, a Nike washing instructions tag and a "1998-99" year tag. Across the front of the jersey is "LAKERS" in yellow on white tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "34" in white on yellow tackle twill. Across the back is "O'NEAL" in yellow on white tackle twill. On the left breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. On the back waistline of the shorts is the "NIKE" manufacturer's size "50" tag. Attached to that are three additional manufacturer's tags reading "INSEAM +4 Made In USA," a Nike washing instructions tag, and a "1998-99" year tag. "34" has been written on the size tag in black marker. On the right thigh is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. The jersey and shorts show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
