Emperor Severus Alexander ruled Rome during one if its more prosperous and peaceful periods, 222-235 AD. This silver deanrius coin was minted circa 225 AD and features a laureated right-facing bust of Alexander on the front, "Victoria" running right with palm and wreath on the reverse.
