Pair of recruiting posters issued just before WWI, designed by famed artists Michael P. Whelan and I.B. Hazelton. One depicts an officer seated on a horse, blowing a bugle, standing with a soldier. The other depicts the "doughboys" in the field, "Men Wanted for the Army." Framed to 30-1/2" x 41", both read "Apply At...Recruiting Station" on the bottom, the particular station has not been filled in. Both posters are in Fine condition with very minor paper loss and some creasing.
