Nirvana took the world by storm late in 1991, forever changing the rock n roll landscape. Three musicians from Seattle put together an album simply titled "NEVERMIND" which spawned the anthem of a generation, "Smells Like Teen Spirit". First up in this auction is an autographed album cover flat from this landmark record. It is signed by all three original members, "David" Grohl, "Krist" Novoselic and of course "Kurt" Cobain, all done in black marker rating an 8 overall. Secondly, there is a copy of the "CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION" dated "Oct. 8, 1991" used to copyright the song "Smells Like Teen Spirit". It has "NAME OF AUTHOR CHRIS NOVOSELIC DAVID GROHL As contained on NEVERMIND VIRGIN SONGS HOLLYWOOD, CA" and is signed "Abby Weiner". Also included are two copies of production sheets from "TEEN SPIRIT" and LITHIUM", with "NIRVANA, PRODUCER BUTCH VIG". They are from SOUND CITY" and display the different instruments used on each track for the recording board. The autographs are accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
