An amazingly talented ballplayer, Ken Griffey Jr. won the 1997 American League Most Valuable Player Award, collected 398 homers before his 30th birthday, and was named Player of the Decade by his peers. On the front left tail of the jersey is the "RUSSELL ATHLETIC" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions, and three tags attached. One reads "48 100% POLYESTER," another "+2" EXTRA LENGTH," and the other "PROPERTY OF THE CINCINNATI REDS." On the front left chest of the jersey is Cincinnati "C" logo done in white on black tackle twill. The player number "30" appears on back and above across the back of the jersey is "GRIFFEY" done in white on red on black triple tackle twill sewn directly on the jersey. On the back of the collar is the official MLB logo patch. On the left sleeve is the "2003 Inaugural Season" patch. Below that is the Russell embroidered Logo jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
