Roger Clemens has been dominating baseball for 20+ years, winning the Cy Young Award seven times (1986, 1987, 1991, 1997, 1998, 2001, and 2004). With over 300 career victories and 4,000 career strikeouts, he is sure to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. This is an extremely rare historic piece as Clemens wore #12 for only a short period of time as a New York Yankee before switching to #22. On the front left tail of this jersey is the "Russell" manufacturer's tag with the jersey size "52" on it along with a series of flag tags attached reading "100% POLYESTER", "2" EXTRA LENGTH", "-1" SLEEVE LENGTH," and "BODY TAPERED." Below that is another tag that reads "ROCKET 99." Across the front of the jersey is "NEW YORK." On the back is the player number "12." All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a black "5" patch to honor Joe Dimaggio. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner Collectibles COA. You will never find a better Yankees Clemens.
