The 1964 Cleveland Browns were one of the most dominating teams in NFL history. The Cleveland Browns finished with a record of 10-3-1 that season, and capped off their year by defeating the Baltimore Colts 27-0 in the NFL Championship Game. The 1964 Browns team featured six pro-bowlers and five future Hall of Famers' including the greatest running back of all, Jim Brown. On this game-used "Riddell" suspension helmet from the 1964 Championship season, that team is immortalized. The orange and white helmet is fully equipped with its original inside padding and a single bar grey plastic face mask. The outside portion of the helmet has several scratches and indentations. On the inside, the helmet features a "Riddell" logo across the suspension lining .The size of the helmet "7 1/2" is written clearly in black marker inside of the helmet along one of the suspending fabrics. The helmet has twenty-three signatures in black marker including Jim Brown, Leroy Kelly, Paul Warfield and Lou Groza, all Hall of Famers. All signatures grade between an 8 to 10, including Jim Brown's signature which is a 9. The helmet comes with a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
