John Reaves was drafted 14th overall out of the University of Florida by the Eagles prior to the 1972 season. In a career that spanned over 15 years and nine NFL seasons, Reaves compiled over 3500 hundred yards and 15 touchdowns.This Marietta white suspension helmet has the famous dark green "dual eagles wings" on the sides of the helmet, and has the name "Marietta" engraved on the back. On the inside of the helmet Reaves' name is written clearly in black marker just above the right ear hole. On the back inside of the helmet the number "72" is written clearly . The helmet shows good game use with scratches and scrapes surrounding the entire helmet.
