On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic Diamond Collection" manufacturer's label with wash instructions. Attached are three additional flag tags "50 100% Polyester," "4" Extra Length", and "Y0." Across the front of the jersey is "New York" done in navy on white tackle twill. On the back is the player's number "17" done in navy on white tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the official "2000 World Series" patch. On the left sleeve is a black armband. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. This jersey was worn by Doc in the regular season, then the World Series patch was added but he did not pitch.
