This ring is a prototype and practically identical to the one presented to the NY Yankees after winning the 1961 World Series. Cast in 14K gold and laureated, on the top perimeter in gold letters of this size 15 ring is "New York Yankees, World Champions." On the top center is set a gold square (angled to resemble a baseball diamond) inlaid with a large round diamond. The left and right shank are identical, with "1961" gold letters in relief on the top and a raised gold Yankees "top hat" logo below. On the inside of the ring is stamped "14K." Ring shows extremely light wear and is in overall NRMT condition.
