Vintage Yankee Stadium double seat from the 1973 renovation, these round back seats are made of wood and iron, measuring 29" tall x 43-1/2" wide. Three wood planks each make up the curved seat backs, they are bolted onto the frame. The numbers "9" and "10" are stenciled in black on the upper rear planks. On the "10" seat center rear plank is a brass plaque which reads "Yankee Stadium, The House That Ruth Built, 50th Anniversary, 1923-1973, Bronx, N.Y." Seat is painted entirely in blue, shows minor rust and some paint chipping which reveals the earlier green color underneath. In overall EXMT condition.
