Inside the rear collar is the "Rawlings St. Louis" manufacturers tag. Adjacent is a white tag with jersey size "42" and wash instructions. On the front left tail is "Platt 48" in brown stitch lettering indicating player name and jersey year, respectively. Across the front is the team name "BROWNS". On the back is the player number "59". All numbers and letters are done in brown on orange tackle twill. There appears to be a number change on the back of the jersey, with the number "9" being added and eventually moved slightly to the left. The colors of the team name have bled slightly into the flannel on the front of the jersey. Jersey shows very good game-use with dirt spots on the back and on the rear left sleeve and shows no other alterations of any kind, except for the number change.
