On the left front tail is the "Medalist Sand Knit" manufacturers tags with jersey size "42". On the inside rear tail are two embroidered patches "83 42S" and "BAINES" indicating year, jersey size and player name, respectively. On the front of the jersey is the team name "SOX" done in white tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is player name "BAINES" and number "3" both done in blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "All-Star Game 50th Anniversary" embroidered patch. Jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The cap is size "7-1/8" and is circa the mid 1980's. It has player number "3" under the brim in black marker. Shows excellent game-use with dirt and sweat stains throughout.
