These black "Wilson" cleats were worn by New York Mets third-baseman Ed Charles during the 1969 World Series. The spikes are made of black leather, and have their original black laces still intact. On each toe area, there is a small rip where Charles' big toe resided. On the inner flap of each shoe , Ed Charles' number "5" has been written in black marker. On the bottom of the cleats, there is actual dirt remnants still visible. On the outside of each cleat, Ed Charles signed his name along with, "1969 W.S" in silver marker rating a 9.The signed cleats come along with a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
