Jackie Robinson burst onto the scene in 1947, breaking baseball's color barrier and bringing the Negro leagues' electrifying style of play to the majors. Robinson was named National League MVP in 1949, leading the loop in hitting (.342) and steals (37), while knocking in 124 runs. Manuf: H & B, Model: R17, Length: 34 in, Weight: 33.7 oz, Wood: Ash, Condition: Cracked at the handle with checking on the back barrel. Hit marks surround the entire barrel. There are cleat marks on the front, right and back barrels. A spiral pattern of tape has been applied to the handle, extending 8.5" from the knob. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA.
