Undated 10-1/2" x 7-1/4" directions to Jackie Robinson's Stamford home, handwritten with hand drawn map on Jackie Robinson letterhead by his wife Rachel Robinson. Comes from the estate of early civil rights leader Dr. Ralph Bunche, to whom this was ostensibly mailed as an invitation. Some folds on the page from being mailed, writing and drawing are NRMT-MINT. 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" Government Post Card (GPC) postmarked 1/21/1957 while he was with the Brooklyn Dodgers, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint by Gil Hodges, who added "Best Wishes Always." Light wear, signature and inscription grade a 9 to 10. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication and an additional LOA.
