Pair of 10" x 12" laminated wood plaques that once adorned the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, both signed by the Chairman of the Honors Committee, William G. Moleray. Both are certificates of election dated April 14 and 16, 1961, respectively. The first honors Ed Wachter, one of the earliest basketball players who is regarded as the greatest center of the 1910s. The second is for the entire Buffalo German team, who from 1908-1911 won 111 straight games and are one of only four teams to be enshrined as a whole. Plaques show light wear and are in overall EXMT condition.
