A 1962 NBA rookie who moved to the ABA in 1969, John Barnhill scored 5,085 points over a 10-year career. He spent the 1967-1968 season with the San Diego Rockets, where he played in 75 games. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Bill Smith Sand-Knit" manufacturer's wash tag with the jersey size "42" flag tag attached. Across the front of the jersey is "SAN DIEGO" in white on yellow tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "30" in white on yellow tackle twill. Across the back is "BARNHILL" in the same tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
